Our Mission is to be a successful, friendly community pharmacy.
Our knowledgeable, caring team work together to provide a superior pharmacy experience. We offer everyday products and services to help our valued customers lead healthier lives. Lisa, the owner of City Beach Pharmacy, graduated from the School of Pharmacy at Curtin University in 1997 and completed her training hours at St Quentin’s Pharmacy in Claremont. As the mother of three small children, Lisa has hands on advice to offer parents when it comes to baby health care. Vanessa is our fulltime pharmacist. She has excellent knowledge of all areas of pharmacy, and along with the rest of our team provides efficient service and excellent advice. We hope you enjoy visiting our Pharmacy as much as we enjoy offering friendly, local, community healthcare. |
History of City BeachIn 1917, the Perth City Council purchased the Lime Kilns Estate. This was 1,290 acres (522 ha), situated between the Endowment Lands and the city. This land linked the city with the ocean beach. The Council proposed an up-to-date seaside town near the ocean beach. It was to be built on garden city lines, embodying approved Town Planning principles, and making ample provision for recreation. In 1928, Council allocated finance to commence work. Council began to refer to the beach as City Beach. This name appears to have developed because of its association with the City Council. |
History of the Shopping CentreCity Beach Pharmacy was established in 1962. It began in the The Empire Games shopping centre. This building was once the Kitchen and Dining hall for the athletes in the 1962 Empire Games. Mr Paul Williams first owned and ran the pharmacy for more than 40 years. He built the business into the great community pharmacy it is now. I purchased the business from Anna Geha in February 2007. I am honoured to continue to serve and assist our loyal customers with their healthcare. |
